Supporting a Healthy Lake: Moses Lake Watershed Council Sponsors 2026 Carp Classic

The Moses Lake Watershed Council (MLWC) is proud to sponsor the 2026 Moses Lake Carp Classic, an annual tournament that brings the community together while helping improve the health of Moses Lake.

The Moses Lake Carp Classic encourages bowfishers to catch and remove carp, an invasive fish species that can negatively impact water quality and aquatic habitat. By reducing carp populations, the event helps support ongoing efforts to protect and improve the lake for wildlife, recreation, and the local community.

MLWC is excited to once again support this community-driven event and the many volunteers, organizers, and participants who make it possible each year. Continuing our sponsorship of the Carp Classic reflects the District’s ongoing commitment to promoting conservation and improving our water quality in Moses Lake.
