Bowfishing for a Better Lake: 2025 Carp Classic Returns

The 2025 Moses Lake Carp Classic returns this Saturday, May 17th, at Connelly Park in Moses Lake. This annual bowfishing tournament is more than just a competition — it’s a community-powered conservation effort.

Invasive carp cause serious harm to Moses Lake’s water quality and aquatic habitat. The Carp Classic helps remove these bottom feeders while raising awareness about protecting our local watershed.

Teams will launch early, with registration starting at 6:00 AM and weigh-in closing at 5:00 PM. Prizes will be awarded for the most fish harvested (by weight), the biggest carp, and the biggest ten fish.

Whether you're a seasoned bowfisher or just want to cheer on the action, come out and be part of the effort to keep Moses Lake clean and thriving.
